We are Giles and Fiona, after a significant life event we wanted to find alternative business ideas in the things that we enjoy, because life should be fun.

After very busy careers in IT we started to explore our passions and talents to see if other people might also find them beautiful, fascinating or useful.

Something Beautiful

Fiona's love of gemstones and natural materials fuels her creative passion for jewellery. Using stones, glass, wood, wire and shells she is able to create the most delicate and balanced pieces which are beautiful and very easy to wear.

Something Fascinating

Some years ago we installed our first birdbox camera. Call us nature nerds if you will, but we found it fascinating! To watch the couples build their nest and then the first egg is laid...  Brilliant! Then that first little chick hatches, naked and pink...  finally the bitter sweet day they fledge! Wow.

So now we lovingly craft birdboxes and install the cameras, ready to go, for you to install in your garden!

Something Useful

We get so much pleasure from the wild birds in the garden and we do enjoy watching them feed at our busy feed stations. But we started to get distressed by the increasing amount of reports that some feed,  especially the cheaper feeds include an alarming amount of nutritionally low fillers designed to bulk them out and keep the cost down.

As birds need to eat 30% of their own body weight a day this can be very damaging for them as they will fill up on foods that are not actually feeding them.

So we searched for a high quality, sustainable and local feed supplier which wouldn't break the bank. We found that in Feldy Fare.

After seeing the birds in our garden go 'nuts' ;-) for it we wanted to share that with you too.
