It all started with the gemstones, precious and semi-precious.

 I love the patterns and colours and the way they warm against your skin.

Nature creates more beauty than we could ever simulate.

I use a huge variety of precious and  semi-precious gemstone beads in my designs.  Combining them with other natural materials such as glass, wood and shell to compliment the stones.

I prefer light jewellery and often find that gemstone jewellery has a tendency to be dense, with heavy strings of beads.

So by using coated steel wire and suspending the beads along the length I lighten the look whilst still enjoying and enhancing the stones themselves.

Often the simplest solution is the best.

I like to keep things simple and sometime that means stripping it right back to basic.

It can then become all about the natural beauty of the stones themselves.
