Tickledown Nest Boxes

Hand made in Giles' workshop, the Tickledown Nest Boxes are made with pine and finished in water based Cuprinol and Farrow & Ball paint.  Each box has its ridge and eaves picked out in a complimentary colour, French Grey or Skyfall Blue. The entrance holes have 28cm or 32cm guard plates.

  We have trialled a number of camera options and the Green Feathers is the best. This tiny HD camera  with WiFi produces really sharp images.  The wide angle lens means that you see the entire inside of the box and a tiny microphone means the camera will record sound as well as video. 

Specially designed night vision invisible infrared LEDs allows the camera to see in dark nest boxes without disturbing the birds. The light sensor automatically switches to night vision at twilight.

A daylight LED light ensures that the picture quality is excellent even on grey days. The light won't disturb the birds and automatically switches on at dawn and off at twilight.  

Using the free app, you can easily watch live or recorded footage of the bird babies in the nest using an iOS or Android device.

The camera features an in-built memory slot that supports MicroSD cards up to 128GB in capacity (card option available). This allows the camera to record footage for later playback.
